Applying for Leased Land

Would you like to apply for leased land? Submit a letter to the Executive Council through the Directorate of Spatial Planning and Development (R&O).

What does this product or service mean?

Leased land is intended for agricultural purposes and, in principle, not for residential construction.

  • A demountable hut or dwelling of no more than 120 m² may be built.
  • The foundation may be made of concrete, but the rest of the structure must be made of wood.

For fire safety reasons, the fire department may now require both the kitchen and the toilet to be built of concrete.

When can you apply for this?

You must live on Bonaire and intend to grow crops or keep livestock.
