Do you think someone is not following the rules? If so, you can report this to the Public Entity of Bonaire. The Supervision & Enforcement Directorate will investigate the report. If a legal violation has occurred, the offender may be held accountable, and an enforcement process will be initiated.
What does this product or service mean?
Are you personally experiencing nuisance or damage due to a violation of the rules? If so, you can file a report. Even if you are not directly affected, you can still file a report.
By reporting a legal violation, you are asking the government to investigate whether rules are being broken.
For example, you can file a report regarding:
- sewer systems
- illegal dumping
- noise pollution from activities or establishments requiring a permit
- odor nuisance
- illegal business activities
- abandoned vehicles on the street
- unauthorized use of public roads
- illegal construction
- illegal recreational accommodations
- a container on a public road
- use of a parcel of land in violation of the Bonaire Spatial Development Plan (ROB)
- discharging wastewater onto public roads or public land
- construction that deviates from the issued building permit
After you file a report, the Supervision & Enforcement Directorate will investigate whether the rules are being violated. If so, the government may take action against the business or individual violating the rules.
