Then you need a street vending permit from the Public Entity of Bonaire (OLB).
What does this product or service mean?
You may only sell on the street or door-to-door with a valid street vending permit.
Without a permit, you may be fined.
A street vending permit is a permit to sell goods or services without a fixed sales location.
You move around while selling and do not remain in one place.
Examples of street vending include:
- selling food or beverages
- selling small items
- selling door-to-door or on the street
You may not sell alcohol.
You must remain mobile and may not set up a fixed table or chair.
When can you apply for this?
You must meet the following requirements:
- the permit is issued in the name of a single person
- street vending is listed as the purpose
- your income does not exceed the minimum wage
- you do not sell alcohol
- you adhere to the designated hours
- you use public spaces in a clean and safe manner
- you carry valid identification with you while selling
How do you apply for this?
Here’s how to apply for a street vending permit:
Step 1: Get information
You can get information:
- online
- through the Customer Contact Center (KCC)
- by scheduling an appointment at Zalma & Kaina
Step 2: Pay the application fee
First, you must pay the permit fee.
Step 3: Gather supporting documents
With your application, you must submit the following, among other things:
- a valid form of identification
- proof of payment of the application fee
- a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG), issued within the last year
- an extract from the PIVA
- a statement of income for the previous tax year
Do you sell goods from a vehicle? If so, you must also submit:
- a copy of your driver’s license
- photos of the fire extinguisher with a valid sticker
- photos of the gas cylinders
- photos of the interior and exterior of the sales vehicle
Step 4: Fill out the application form
Please complete the application form in full with:
- your personal information
- information about what you sell
- where you sell
- when and at what time you sell
Incomplete applications will not be processed.

What does it cost?
The street vending permit costs:
- Street vending without a vehicle costs $8.40.
- Street vending with a vehicle costs $25.15.
- A fixed vending location costs $20.95.

After filing an objection, you may, if necessary, appeal to the court.
