You may only import meat and meat products from slaughterhouses and cutting plants that are approved by the EU and/or the U.S.

The Bonaire Veterinary Department inspects imported meat and meat products. This is done to ensure food safety and prevent animal diseases on Bonaire.

For the time being, it is only possible to import meat and/or meat products from slaughterhouses and cutting plants approved by the EU and/or the USA. For more information, click on the hyperlinks.

Meat imports must be reported at least 2 days in advance by email to: importkeuring@bonairegov.com.
