The gaming license fee is a tax imposed on operators of casinos or other licensed establishments where games of chance are offered.
What does this product or service mean?
Gaming license tax is calculated based on gross revenue from games of chance. For slot machines with a bill acceptor, the so-called “bill drop” is considered gross revenue.
You must:
- file a return every quarter;
- submit the return no later than the 15th day after the end of the quarter;
- pay the amount due no later than the same date.

You are liable for tax if you hold a license to operate a casino or any other establishment where games of chance are offered
How do you apply for this?
The Public Entity of Bonaire issues four tax return forms each year.
You can email the tax return and proof of payment to olb@bonairegov.com.
If you have not received a tax return form, request one within 60 days after the end of the quarter.
What does it cost?
The gaming license fee is 1.5% of the gross revenue from games of chance.
Example:
For gross revenue of USD 100,000, the gaming license fee is USD 1,500.
