An identity card (sédula) serves as both proof of identity and an immigration document. Everyone aged 12 and older is required to be able to present proof of identity.
The sédula is issued to individuals who are registered in the population registry at the Civil Affairs Office on Bonaire. You will only be registered after you have received a residence permit from the IND. See the IND page for more information.
