No. The Directorate of Community and Care will deposit the USD 1,300 into your WEB account. This means you will have a USD 1,300 credit with WEB to cover your electricity bills—provided you don’t have any outstanding balance with WEB. WEB tracks your monthly electricity usage, and the monthly charges will be deducted from the USD 1,300 credit until it runs out. Once the credit is used up, you will resume paying your bills yourself.
Do you use Pagabon? If so, you will receive a Pagabon token with a USD 1,300 credit. This token can only be used with your own meter.
For example, if you owe USD 400, that amount will be subtracted from the USD 1,300. Your remaining credit will be USD 1,300 minus USD 400—that means you will have USD 900 left.

Yes. The USD 40 fee for reconnection will be deducted from the USD 1,300.
If your electricity has been disconnected, it means you have an outstanding debt with WEB. That debt will also be deducted from the USD 1,300. The remaining amount can be used to cover your electricity costs.

Yes, you can use the remaining credit at your new address if the WEB account is in your name and you continue using the same account at the new address.
Please note: If the WEB account at your new address is in your landlord’s name, you will not be able to use the remaining credit at that address
