Effective October 23, 2026, fuel retail prices will be adjusted. This adjustment is due to recent developments in the international market and higher fuel purchase prices.
The price of gasoline (Mogas95) will increase by USD 0.12 per liter. The price of diesel will increase by USD 0.40 per liter. The price of kerosene will remain the same. The price of 100 lbs. of LPG (large gas cylinder) will increase by USD 3.00, and the price of 20 lbs. (small gas cylinder) will increase by USD 1.00.
This price adjustment complies with the provisions of the Temporary Decree of March 25, 2022, on the 2022 Excise Tax Reduction for the Caribbean Netherlands, No. 2022-104414 (Government Gazette No. 8683 of March 28, 2022) and the Act of December 21, 2022, amending certain tax laws and other laws (Tax Plan 2023) (Official Gazette 532).
Until April 1, 2022, the excise tax rate for gasoline (MOGAS95) was 31.86 cents per hectoliter. According to the aforementioned regulations, the excise tax rate for gasoline (MOGAS95) was 15.86 cents per hectoliter for the period from April 1, 2022, through June 30, 2023. From July 1, 2023, through December 31, 2023, the excise tax rate for gasoline (MOGAS95) was 23.86 cents per hectoliter. Since January 1, 2024, the excise tax rate for gasoline (MOGAS95) has been 31.86 cents per hectoliter, the same level as before April 1, 2022.
In light of the above, the following retail prices for fuel will apply as of October 23, 2026:
