How do you apply for this?
Apply for a sédula at the Civil Affairs Department. You must be present in person to submit the application. The sédula is issued immediately.
To apply for a sédula, you must bring the following documents:
- Original residence permit (if applicable)
- Old ID card
- A valid passport or driver’s license if you do not have a sédula
