Annual Flu and COVID Vaccinations

The risk of catching the flu or COVID increases in the last few months of the year. Older adults who get infected can become seriously ill and may even require hospitalization.

You can get the flu and COVID vaccinations in October and November 2024. These vaccinations offer greater protection and reduce the chances of becoming seriously ill if you get the flu or COVID.

The vaccinations are free. You can choose to have only the COVID vaccine, only the flu vaccine, or both.

Who is eligible for the flu and COVID vaccinations?

All residents aged 60 and over

Individuals up to 60 years old with chronic conditions, such as:

• Heart disease
• Lung disease
• Diabetes
• Overweight
• High blood pressure

Individuals up to 60 years old with weakened immune systems
