Energy allowance update

The energy allowance helps Bonaire residents with their electricity costs. If your living situation or income changes, you must report this as soon as possible to the Directorate of Social Affairs and Care.

Description

Take notice!

If your situation changes, such as a new address, a different electricity bill, or a change in income, you must report it. This prevents your allowance from stopping or having to repay funds later.

You receive a $1300 allowance on your electricity bill with WEB. This credit is deducted monthly based on your electricity usage. If your personal situation changes, such as income or address, you must update your details.

Conditions

The conditions:

  • You must be been living legally on Bonaire for five years or more without a break at the time of the application.
